They shoot cyclists don't they?

Whenever I'm doing longer rides, or intervals, I choose the seclusion of a road on Eglin AFB property. The lack of traffic allows me to concentrate on intervals, and not worry about cars. I wasn't a half mile from the parking area when I started seeing shell casings littering the side of the road. There must've been 50 or 60 scattered over a couple hundred feet...

Maybe this is what they do to you when your rec. permit isn't up to date.

I know that the Rangers do war games out there, but I've never known them to conduct their games so close to the main road.

In any event, that sort of thing keeps my rides on military property...interesting, to say the least.
