Conspiracy nut

I don't know why I even bothered to look at this site, maybe it's morbid curiosity...but the raceclean site is a real piece of work. The loon who runs it seems to take great pride in accusing many high profile racers of doping.
His latest tirade against Team CSC would be disturbing if it wasn't so damned funny.

I bet that character has a foil hat collection. Gotta make sure his thoughts aren't read by "the man" or little green men.

i couldn't agree with you more. although the issue he's addressing deserves attention, this is not the right way of going about it.

Yep, RaceClean's med prescription had run dry and he's lost the plot.
I was one of the first guys to get on the Underground site and am 100% behind 'the cause' but wild, unsubstantiated, generalized accusations devalue the efforts of those who can institute real change. Sorry Race Clean but no one wants to listen to the crazy, homeless guy yelling and warning that the sky is falling...no matter how 'accurate' he 'may be'.
Don't try to disguise 10 minutes worth of internet googling as 'investigative journalism'- get some real dirt and someone might take you seriously.

I can agree that to some extent the "unsubstantiated" call-outs on raceclean.org may not be the best way of going about things. But on the other hand, this problem is so totally out of control that I think it's great that someone is willing to stand up and call a spade a spade. USACycling isn't going to do it. The UCI isn't going to do it. Like it or not, most of your favorite euro pros are doping. So too are many US pros. If you want to just pretend that this isn't really going on, don't look at the site.

I am under no illusion that doping is going on, and that some of my favorite pros are guilty, BUT, until I see definitive proof to the contrary I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Calling "a spade a spade" is one thing, but what if it really isn't a spade?

The great thing is though, it's a free country and raceclean can accuse whoever they want. But they shouldn't expect me to buy it hook, line, and sinker though.

How many times did Lance test positive...6? But no one cares right? Lance said it's a witch hunt, Lance wouldent lie would he? He had cancer...he cant lie. And Tyler...he loves his dog. Some people just make mistakes, like Dave Fuentes...who could blame the guy, I take unmarked pills all day long, who knows, mabey they are steroids...dam my legs are getting big.

Rob, you're missing the point- no one except the truly nieve can argue that drugs aren't a problem BUT unsubstantiated accusations without proof isn't legitimate. RaceClean is constantly spouting riders names but where's his proof?? Hearsay and rumour is for losers...just like drugs.

Exactly!

You would think the falsely accused would put up more of a fight. Raceclean has slandered Todd Wells, Stolenunderground has slandered Tom D...yet neither of these two try to fight it. They ignore the issue. Why don't you see big time pros be more outspoken about the issue? It drives me nuts.

Are you serious?? Arguing with loose cannon bloggers only gives them the credibility and attention they crave. Ignoring their rants is definitely the only option for a pro- otherwise you'd look like just as big a cracker as the Race Clean guy.
Once again...bring some proof to the table and peole will listen instead of just reading his site to enjoy the humourous and ridiculous content- sorta like a cycling version of National Enquirer.
